Preparing for the Space Clearing
Space Clearing is most effective when conducted in a clutter-free and clean environment.
In preparation, if possible, clean and tidy including vacuuming and mopping and clear out the clutter prior to our appointment. Please note that ‘clearing out the clutter’ is not an excuse to hide it in a cupboard or under the bed.
Ensure that all food and drink is put away in the fridge and cupboards or sealed in containers.
A floor plan will be required of the home, which you can provide on the day of the Space Clearing. It does not need to be drawn to scale however, it will need to indicate where smoke alarms are located and who sleeps in each of the bedrooms.
If the Space Clearing is for a business, a floor plan will still be required, again not to scale, however it must indicate where smoke alarms are located and where any flammable materials may be present. The work stations of individual staff members will also be required to be noted on the floor plan.
Part of the ceremony will include the burning of two candles and therefore an area within your home or business will need to be identified as a suitable location. It will need to be an area where it will not be disturbed by people or animals for at least 48 hours after the Space Clearing.
This area should be presented as meaningful and beautiful as possible in order to bring the best results of the Space Clearing. Please include items such as a deity, fresh flowers, family photograph. A nice tablecloth is also an added touch to this area.
Prior to arrival, please open all windows and doors and ensure pets, if any, are in a safe place. It is also preferable that small children are cared for so as not to disturb the ceremony.
